Although it was first published in 2006, I only recently became aware of this book. One advantage of being so late to the party is that I had plenty of reviews to look at, and so could judge what others think of the book before trying it. Appiah’s concerns about cosmopolitanism raises a great argument about the world in which all types of humans live in and more so when the ideas of cultural revolutions are taken into question. My definition of cosmopolitanism is a global community which all humans are connected together and live among one another in an ethical fashion and eliminating any prejudices or biases.
